Eco - sustainable methods
With finite resources, pollution and pressure on the environment and the effects on biodiversity - we are all trying to do our bit to lessen our impact on our planet and reduce our carbon footprint, whether from using 100% recycled polybags for our packaging to some of our other eco-friendly methods we offer below.
rPET is high quality polyester fibre produced from recycled plastic bottles. Wstar uses the rPET process to efficiently conserve natural resources and reduce the burden on the environment without compromising quality. Over 25 recycled plastic bottles can produce a single garment which does NOT end up in landfill, rivers or the ocean. We produce rPET polos for our clients Shell Canada and Mitre 10 and expect to add to this list greatly.

FusionTech is a printing process which uses heat to transfer dye directly into the fabric.This transition is between the solid and gas states without going through a liquid stage.This process is completely waterless so there is no waste water going into the environment. Even the transfer paper is 100% recyclable. rPET recycled polyester can also be used with this process for a second life.
Circular Apparel Solutions is a response to the wasteful and polluting outdated model of the textile industry. This process provides a solution to unwanted pre and post-consumer textiles & apparel which offers benefits to the economy, society, and the environment. All compositions can be saved from landfill and shredded back to its original fibre state to be reused as carpet or mattress underlay, removal blankets, fillings or insulation and/or re-spun into yarn.
