AMPM is a retail arm of BP, located in 950 sites throughout the West Coast of USA. We successfully tendered for the AMPM contract and have maintained this contract since November 2012, providing them with a full uniform solution. Wellfit – Wstar designed a uniform that aligned with their powerful and distinctive brand criteria, whilst remaining highly visible to their customers.
Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemicals companies with 104,000 employees in more than 110 countries. A key objective with the Shell contract was to increase the brand consistency across different Shell markets, which has been achieved with great success. It was also necessary to provide safe, technical garments that perform in the environment in which they are worn, whilst being more economical than a locally supplied/off the shelf garment. Wellfit – Wstar has exceeded these expectations, and with its on-going commitment to research and development, looks to always improve what can be offered, whether it be in overall service, or garment technology.
We implemented a complete re-brand exercise for Z Energy, who took over Shell petrol stations within New Zealand. Wellfit – Wstar became involved in the designing and manufacturing of the uniforms, assisting in the creation of a wide range of garments that are aesthetically pleasing, safe, visible and practical. For our design team practical means that garments perform in the environment where they are to be worn. When designing the Z Energy uniforms, it was a requirement that attendants were noticeable to the customers, but also contemporary and modern for the staff, proudly wearing their uniforms.
Mitre 10 is New Zealand’s largest network of home improvement stores, with over 90 retailers throughout the country. Mitre 10 refreshed their iconic brand and as a result, required a contemporary uniform solution. Wellfit – Wstar worked alongside the company from initial design concept to production and delivery. In order to gain an intimate understanding of what was required; we observed the staff at work and sought feedback from employees and the management team. With this insight, we successfully produced a full uniform solution and further developed our ground-breaking polo-shirt printing technology FUSIONTECH™ to meet each individual sub-brand and need stated by Mitre 10. The customised solution perfectly reflects the brand, while remaining practical, comfortable and modern.
In 2013, Wellfit – Wstar was awarded the Restaurant Brands contact to manufacturer and distribute the uniforms for three of New Zealand’s largest quick service restaurants; KFC, Pizza Hut and Carl’s Jr. The Wellfit – Wstar design department worked alongside the customer to refresh each of the uniform designs. KFC and Pizza Hut both utilised the printing technology FUSIONTECH™ for their crew t-shirts/polo-shirts, giving the restaurants and industry a fresh look. Today we distribute to over 200 stores nationwide.
Best Buy is the largest specialty retailer in the U.S. Consumer electronics retail industry and also operates in Canada and Mexico.
